I’ve been coming to this hotel for 15 years and have appreciated the beautiful scenery, but I'm really disappointed after this last visit. The rooms felt quite outdated and were unfortunately not clean, which was a letdown. I had issues with making reservations for the hot springs, which was one of the main reasons I stayed, and it felt frustrating not to get a resolution from the front desk. Overall, while the area has potential, the experience this time left me unhappy.

The lodge provides a decent experience with basic accommodations and is an affordable option in Stanley. The location offers beautiful views of the Sawtooth Mountains and is conveniently close to local amenities. However, the rooms feel quite dated and could benefit from better maintenance, especially with the cleanliness in hidden areas. The dining experience needs improvement due to slow service and limited menu choices during busy times.

The hotel has stunning views that are hard to beat in Stanley, but the check-in process was frustrating and left a negative impression. While the rooms may be basic and clean, they seem to be overpriced for the experience, especially considering the service issues I encountered.
